EXPERIENCE
ABOUT.
A series of employee engagement events designed for HSBC, including the Chinese New Year celebration and Family Day sustainability experience. The projects translated HSBC’s brand identity into welcoming and educational environments for employees and their families.
MY ROLE.
Supported the visual development and rollout of environmental graphics across multiple launch environments. Responsibilities included adapting brand visuals for stage environments, event graphics, spatial applications and housekeeping slides, as well as preparing final artwork for print. I was also involved in ensuring the graphics looked right on-site, making sure the final execution aligned with the intended design direction.
CHINESE NEW YEAR 2025.
HSBC Commercial Banking hosts an annual Chinese New Year gathering to reconnect with long-standing clients and celebrate the start of the new year together. The event welcomed around 330 guests, bringing senior business leaders together for an evening of conversation, networking, and festive celebration. Visual elements blended traditional Chinese New Year motifs with HSBC’s brand identity to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for the occasion.
I was involved in designing the key visual, zodiac boards, signage and housekeeping slides. My favourite part of the project was reading up on the zodiac horoscopes while designing the boards. It made the process more enjoyable and helped me better understand the content I was working with!

FAMILY DAY.
HSBC Family Day brought employees and their families together to explore the bank's sustainability initiatives across Singapore. At the heart of the event was a large wall installation featuring an illustrated map of Singapore, where custom icons brought each Corporate Sustainability effort to life. Each icon was designed in a stained glass-inspired style with bold outlines, segmented colour fills, and a warm earthy palette, balancing detail with clarity to make complex environmental topics feel approachable and celebratory.
INTERACTIVE WALL.
In 2025, the original installation concept was adapted into an interactive digital touchscreen experience, permanently displayed at the HSBC office on Level 45 of MBFC Tower 2. Through the interface, visitors can explore the map and discover the bank's sustainability initiatives at their own pace. Seeing the work find a lasting home in such a prominent space was a proud moment.
